AgroAzzo significantly increases Fodder Beet Yield in independent Trial

This independent trial run by PastureFirst in Canterbury, NZ was a plot replicated field trial conducted between November 2023 and June 2024 to evaluate the effect of AgroAzzo and AgroComplex on Fodder beet yield.

The results showed both AgroAzzo and AgroComplex significantly improved yield over the control. In addition to total yield AgroAzzo and AgroComplex significantly improved both Bulb and Top Yield.

Economics

AgroAzzo was applied at a cost of $140/ha plus an application cost of $30/ha. The increase in yield was 3.5t with value of 35c/kg DM. This equates to an increase in Margin of $1225 minus product cost of $140 and $30 application cost = total increase in profit of $1105 per ha. 

AgroComplex was applied at a cost of $374/ha plus an application cost of $30/ha. The increase in yield was 3.8t with value of 35c/kg DM. This equates to an increase in Margin of $1330 minus product cost of $374 and $30 application cost = total increase in profit of $926 per ha.
