In two field trials run over the season by AgroBiotechNZ, our range of Bio-stimulants showed significant yield increases over the control. These replicated plot trials conducted on Kale and Wheat were independently set-up by a University student and blind harvested.
Wheat
This trial was designed to determine the effectiveness of AgroBiotechNZ against a control on Wheat, at Seatons Farm, Aylesbury, Canterbury. Cropmark have independently harvested the trials using a precision plot harvester. This was performed blindly, just numbers, no treatment description. They provide plot weights and grain weights. Data was then analyzed statistically.
A statistically significant increase in yield was achieved by using AgroAzzo - 8.5t, over the control - 7.2t. In addition the grain weight was significantly higher than the control indicating increased plant vigour to ensure better grain development. Screenings were also greatly reduced confirming enhance grain development.

Kale
This trial was designed to determine the effectiveness of AgroBiotechNZ product variations, against a control on Kale (Coleor), at Claverton Farm, Burnham, Canterbury.
This replicated field trial showed a statistically significant increase in yield was achieved by using AgroAzzo -12.3t, over the control - 8.7t.
Economics
2 x applications of 4L/ha were applied at a cost of $114/ha. The increase in yield was 3.6t with value of 28c/kg DM. This equates to an increase in Margin of $1008 minus product cost of $114 = total increase in profit of $894 per ha.
